Dale United Methodist Church

Neighbors joining together to build peace in the First State.....For the first time Delaware will lift up and celebrate peace for one entire week, September 18-25. Peace Week Delaware has more than a dozen events scheduled statewide. Events will be committed to promoting the actions and blessings of peace that leads to a more peaceful society. Peace and peaceful actions make sense for the people. In the absence of peace, we have fear and violence and the people suffer. Peace mindfulness and peace practices are based on love, compassion, understanding, cooperation, justice and reconciliation - qualities that are an essential part of any religious belief. Peace is rational, peace is productive, peace is comforting and PEACE IS POSSIBLE...Go to www.peaceweekdelaware.orgfor more information.

Pastor Ken along with a combined choir from Dale and Lee Haven rendered service at Centennial UMC on Sunday, September 18th to celebrate their Usher Day.

The Vision in Missions (VIM) trip was attended by St. Paul UM Church, Odessa and Dale UM Church. They went to Oak Hill, West Virginia. The mission was for flood relief and recovery. Dale members Clarence Perkins (chaperone) and Darryl Wilson, Jr (youth missionary) supported this relief effort.
